Creating a nation where all its children are free from physical and emotional harm will require
solutions that reach children within their families and those families within their communities.

Projeto Rossin believes in a world where all young people and their families are free to achieve their fullest potential as agents of change. We will work to empower them to remove barriers that prevent them from being active locally and globally. Projeto Rossin works together with the community to empower , to establish a comprehensive, child and family focused development approach that gives all members the education, skills and opportunity to lift themselves out of poverty—forever.
Our vision is to instill dreams where there are not dreams. Hence our motto;
* No Dream, No Vision.
* No Vision, No Hope.
When I gave my life to Jesus I was 14 years old in a Baptist church with an American pastor by the name of George Simpson. In this church I was baptized, married and it was at this time I felt the calling of God on my life to win souls for the kingdom. I studied at the Baptist seminary here in Campinas and my desire was to minister to poor children and families. And for 40 years I have worked teaching the Bible them.
I had a very difficult childhood. My parents were very poor. I lived in a little wooden house and my mother, suffering from severe depression, was very sick. We were always depending on others to give us food and clothing. I feel that this is why the desire is so strong in my heart to help children and those in need. They’re passing through the same childhood I had. When I was visiting Dallas 7 years ago living with my daughter Priscilla. I was praying for God to bless my ministry with children in Brazil. It was then that my son Isaias called to tell me about a person who had a house in a very poor area of the city and would let us use this house, free of charge, as a gathering place for the children. It was then that I knew not only what he wanted me to do, but also where he wanted me to do it. I returned to Brazil and started this beautiful ministry (Projeto Rossin) that first began in the heart of God.
So every Sunday morning we gathered in this house starting with 10 children. Every Sunday we praise the Lord with beautiful children’s songs, ate breakfast together and divided then into 3 classrooms, according to ages to teach the Bible. God provided the help needed by adding people with the same purpose and mind set. To teach children. The number of children has grown. Today we have 110 plus children, 53 teenagers who grew up with the ministry. They help us in the activities, which are many, and today a number of mothers are helping to prepare breakfast, do setup and cleanup, and assist in other areas of the ministry.
I have a great desire to start cooking breakfast for the kids. I know they will be happy eating a well-prepared meal covered with much love and affection.
Every fourth Sunday of each month we have a celebration entitle Birthday Blessing, in which we have a party for all of the children who is or have had a birthday in that month. We have a blue cake for boys and a pink cake for girls. We also have sweets and snacks, sang happy birthday, and everyone with a birthday that month is given a present. It is very impact and rewarding. In most cases these children have nothing else to celebrate this special day in their lives.
Each year in April we have a feast of the Passover (Easter) here in Brazil. We have a custom of giving chocolate eggs. Because of the price of the eggs the children cannot afford them. Through help from God’s people we are able to give each child one of these eggs and have the opportunity to teach the true meaning of Easter for them.
Many children have no father and in some cases no mother at home and is raised by grandparents or some other relative. But every year in May, we celebrate Mother’s Day to evangelize the mothers in the home. The children are encouraged to in visit their mother or, if the mother is not present, a person they respect and look up to and is considered to be a mother figure.
On Father’s Day, in August, we have a breakfast with parents even though many have no father at home. They are, again, encouraged to bring a person in which they might consider as a father. In October we celebrate children’s day and every year we have a beautiful party for the children with games, activities, toys and lots of good food.
For Christmas each child is adopted by a person, group of people or a family. The person(s) or family would by a gift consisting of clothes and footwear that would be presented to the child along with toys and a Bible for each family. The gifts are presented to the child at a special lunching prepared for them and their families. Each year the number are grows. This year we had over 350+ people and we were able to bless all of the children and families at the special occasion.
This is all gifts from God. It is all done with love and joy of heart. He is faithful and has sustained us year after year.
During the first month of this year the person who was letting us use the house for free, told us that he need the premises for additional business. We were given only one month to move because he was going to demolish the house that was very old and needing major repair. So faithfully we started looking for a place and within twenty days Our God provided us with a house. There was no rental sign on it but the rental company had only been given the order and the keys to rent the house thirty minute before we asked about it. The location of the rental house was next to the place we had already been using. We now have expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries, and etc. But it’s a new time, a new place and a new season. We believe God has provided in the past and He will provide for now and in the future.
And today I am very happy because we have a clean house, with a bathroom, 3 classrooms, backyard area to play with the children, and a nice kitchen to prepare hot food and delicious cakes. I ask you to pray for and with us to continue to bless the children and the community. We want to have room to put computers to teach children. Most of them do not have in their homes. Also, we would like to start a program to help the children with school work as well as teach them English. We have many children who have been abused by relatives and also starting to use drugs. We want to bring professionals to work with their recovery.
We know that the best part is to show them salvation through Jesus and the love of our God. This we are doing with great care and seriousness, Friend, I want to give you a personal invitation to you and your family to come visit us. You will be hosted in my house free of charge. I and my family will take care of you with much love and affection, it will be a great pleasure.
My thanks to you for everything. Thanks be to God for putting people like you in my life and the lives of the children. I know this ministry that first began in the heart of God is also in the hearts of many people. This is not a one person job, it is too much. But with the help of the family of God, we can do all things and nothing is impossible.
Soon we will have finalized our web site. Then I will send for you the link. We are also getting a special non-profit status and a bank account in the United States for donations.
